HIRES MARKETING PROFESSIONALS; PROMOTION WITHIN

BALTIMORE, MD – September 15, 2004 - Live Baltimore Home Center, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Baltimore City living, has added two marketing professionals to its staff. Mary Alice Fallon has been named marketing coordinator and Kate Higgins is retail marketing coordinator.  Madeline Lettre has been promoted to events and marketing manager.

As marketing coordinator, Fallon is responsible for all written communication and promotions, including writing the newsletter and maintaining the website, www.livebaltimore.com. She also manages the "I Love City Living" Ambassadors program.

As publications coordinator at Johns Hopkins Medicine's Office of Corporate Communications, Fallon wrote for the employee newspaper, maintained the website and managed the production of 17 periodicals. Fallon also was marketing coordinator at the Maryland Center for Arts & Technology. She graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in English and is currently working towards her master's in publications design at the University of Baltimore.

As retail marketing coordinator, Higgins acts as the lead client contact and maintains the appearance of the Home Center facility, including window displays and promotional materials. Most recently she served as a settlement officer at The Fountainhead Title Group, where she worked closely with local real estate offices to expand business in the greater Baltimore area. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology, and she currently volunteers for the Best Buddies of Baltimore and the Baltimore Office of Promotions. Higgins is also a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors.

After two years as marketing coordinator Madeline Lettre has recently been promoted to a newly created position of events and marketing manager. Lettre organizes marquis events like Live Baltimore's semi-annual Buying Into Baltimore Home Buying Fairs and Ambassador networking events, as well as hosting events in Washington, DC and home buying workshops throughout the city of Baltimore. In addition, Lettre manages Live Baltimore's participation in Baltimore City festivals.
