LIVE BALTIMORE ANNOUNCES HOME-BUYERS WORKSHOPS
Take a virtual tour of City neighborhoods; learn about incentive programs, renovating tips,
the mortgage application process and more!
BALTIMORE, MD - March 8, 2005 - Live Baltimore Home Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Baltimore City living, is offering a special series of seminars to assist consumers interested in buying a home in Baltimore City.
"As the market for homes in Baltimore City continues to grow we've seen an increased demand for more education around home-buying," says Tracy Gosson, executive director of Live Baltimore. "We are offering this spring series for current renters or people from outside the areas, including Washingtonians interested in buying a home in Baltimore City."
The first of the workshops are as follows:
· Applying for a Mortgage: What you need to know! Tues, March 15th 6 - 7pm
· Renovating a Home in Baltimore City: Learn the Process, Sat, March 19th 10 - 11:30am
· Virtual Tours of Baltimore: Find a Home for Yourself, Sat, March 26th 10 - 11am
· Historic Tax Credits, Sat, April 9th 10 - 11:30am
· CDA More House 4 Less Mortgage & Downpayment, Wed, April 13th 12 -12:50pm
· Get to Know Baltimore's Healthy Neighborhoods, Tues, April 19th 6 - 7pm

In addition to workshops offered at Live Baltimore's office, the organization offers a Home-Buying Seminar at Roland Park Country School on April 26, 2005 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. This evening program provides workshops similar to above in 30 minute sessions. Participants can also talk with real estate agents, mortgage brokers, home buying counselors and other exhibitors.
