BALTIMORE ARCHITECTURE FOUNDATION AWARDS
LIVE BALTIMORE GOLDEN GRIFFIN AWARD

Baltimore- (May 16, 2005) The Baltimore Architecture Foundation is pleased to announce Live Baltimore as the recipient of the 2005 Golden Griffin Award. 

Live Baltimore Home Center is an independent non-profit organization founded in 1997 to promote the benefits of city living. As an important source for information about living in Baltimore City, Live Baltimore provides comprehensive information about city living through home-buying workshops and seminars, home-buying incentive programs, and through promotion of Baltimore neighborhoods.

The Golden Griffin Award will be presented to Live Baltimore at the annual meeting of the Baltimore Architecture Foundation on May 26, 2005, at the Peale Museum.

Each year, the Golden Griffin Award is presented to a person or group that has shown demonstrable, multi-year impact on the architecture and development of Baltimore.  The Golden Griffin Trophy, a large statue of marble and glass, is presented to the recipient.

The Baltimore Architecture Foundation will hold its annual meeting at 6pm on Thursday, May 26, at the Peale Museum, 225 Holliday Street in Baltimore.  The event is free and open to the public; please call 410-539-7772 to RSVP or for more information.
