Live Baltimore Team Biographies

Steven Gondol, Executive Director

Steve Gondol

Steven Gondol knows cities can succeed. As Executive Director, he coordinates a multi-faceted marketing strategy coupled with day-to-day management of the organization’s budget and operations. His goal is to attract new residents to the city while retaining the incredible neighbors we currently have. He leads the organization into its 15th year of operation, a success story in of itself, and is constantly developing new ways to get out of the office and into all of Baltimore’s 225+ neighborhoods!

A native of the Youngstown, Ohio area, Steven is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors of Urban Planning degree.  He and his wife reside in the Patterson Park Neighborhood. You can find Steve with his dog Ferris enjoying the amenities of the park just outside his door or buzzing around town on his Genuine Stella.

He previously served as the organization’s Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Relocation Manager and most recently as the Business Relationship Manager.  His responsibilities focused on coordinating the relocation activities and marketing campaign for personnel coming from New Jersey and Northern Virginia to Aberdeen Proving Ground and Fort Meade respectively.

As Business Relationship Manager he coordinated our real estate agents and business partners to achieve our mission to grow Baltimore City. He actively recruited new partners as well as integrating the services our partners provide to meet the needs of our customers.

Steven’s background in urban planning and interest in city life includes living in cities such as Cleveland, Amsterdam, and Washington DC. He currently serves on the board of the Friends of Patterson Park, is active in the Patterson Park Neighborhood Association, and previously volunteered as a Big Brother with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Maryland.

Bridget Weininger, Marketing Director

Bridget Weininger

Bridget Weininger started as the Marketing Director in September 2010. In her role, Bridget directs Live Baltimore’s creative strategy and marketing to reach potential new neighbors and to cultivate the “I love city life” movement among those who already call our City home.

Bridget’s background includes project management, graphic design, and art direction in both in-house and independent agencies and as a freelancer. Born and raised in Baltimore County, she’s a graduate of Towson University and earned her Master’s degree in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore.

Katie Schroeder, Customer Outreach & Events Coordinator

Katie Schroeder

Katie joined the Live Baltimore Staff in March 2011 to promote the city she’s called home her entire life. Katie enjoys assisting customers with homebuying inquiries, neighborhood information, and organizing fun Live Baltimore events.

As a Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) graduate, Katie holds a degree in English and writing, and has been working in the non-profit world for over 5 years, where she promoted youth entrepreneurship to Baltimore City’s middle and high school students, prior to joining Live Baltimore.

Recently, Katie relocated from Riverside to historic Seton Hill. She’s eager to continue visiting the 224 neighborhoods that make up her great city and learning what makes them “tick.” In addition to local fun, there’s rarely a time when a vacation to somewhere warm isn’t on Katie’s calendar.
