INVITATION TO COMMUNITY GROUPS, NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS, VOLUNTEER INTEREST GROUPS:

Live Baltimore Home Center is pleased to share information with you about a brand new recruitment event for our City – “Greenlight Baltimore,” a Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) related relocation fair and tour of Baltimore City on Saturday, April 12, 2008. This is a free event for individuals and families impacted by BRAC and considering relocation to Maryland in the next two-four years.

As you know, Live Baltimore is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting living in Baltimore City. We’ve created Greenlight Baltimore as a one-day event designed to showcase the neighborhoods and quality of life amenities found in Baltimore. The day includes complimentary bus transportation from their home areas in New Jersey and Virginia, a fair highlighting our neighborhoods and community organizations, narrated familiarization bus tours of city living opportunities and an afternoon reception.

As a representative of a city neighborhood association or community interest group, you have the opportunity to participate in the community fair on April 12th from 11:30am-2:00pm to showcase your city pride. This is a great opportunity to meet potential new city residents and share what makes Baltimore “Charm City.” This fair is only open to non-profit, volunteer and government agencies; for-profit businesses are excluded. We are requiring a $30 non-refundable participation fee so we can adequately plan for the fair’s layout and implementation. A 6-foot table will be provided, but neither electricity nor Internet access will be available. Deadline for registration is March 15. To reserve your participation, please fill-out the attached form and send it in along with your $30 fee to Live Baltimore, Attention Chantél Clea, 343 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. For questions, contact Live Baltimore Event & Marketing Manager Chantél Clea at cclea@livebaltimore.com or 410.637.3750. Once your fair registration contract and fee are received, you will receive acknowledgement of your reservation. More specific information regarding the event will be sent to participants closer to the date.

For more information, visit our website www.livebaltimore.com/brac. Thanks so much for your interest! We look forward to working with you!
