These homes are ready for rehab and each will have a property renovation estimate. In addition, these properties qualify for Maryland and Baltimore City historic preservation rehabilitation property tax incentives and artists' income tax incentives. Some properties also qualify for financing assistance through the Healthy Neighborhoods Program.
Registration begins at 8:00am. Interested homebuyers may view the properties from 10am - 1pm. Workshops will be offered from 9am - 12pm on a variety of subject, including:
- Homeownership and Financial Counseling
- How to Bid on a SCOPE Proerty
- Rehabbing a Historic House & How to Apply for Historic Tax Credits
- Developing Artist Live/Work Space
There will be a drawing for a $500 gift certificate from Lowes for those who register before 9:15am.
