This loan program helps protect victims of predatory lenders and property flipping. Funded by Fannie Mae and HUD, Baltimore Help can provide eligible homeowners with:

• Intervention (including possible legal action) against the existing mortgage lender
• An affordable mortgage refinance and an emergency home repair loan
• A write-down grant, if needed, to reduce mortgage debt in inflated appraisal cases
• Financial counseling and homeowner education
