The Jewish Community Center and the Baltimore Hebrew College is in our midst and the Cylburn Park Arboretum is only a few minutes drive away. Several major roadways are only minutes away (Jones Falls and the Beltway). Are you a fan of racing ? Pimlico Racecourse, home of the Peakness is 5 minutes away. There are supermarkets in the area and a shopping center a 5 minute drive to the northwest. There is a major car dealership in the area along with other businesses. If you want to practice your golf swing, the Baltimore Driving Range is a 5 minute drive to Mt. Washington. During the Christmas season, the Glen Firehouse has a Christmas Train Garden. |

Glen is a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of trees and grass. In the spring there are beautiful azaleas that dot the landscape. Many sturdy trees provide shade during the lazy days of summer. Glen is a quiet community that is home to a culturally diverse population of new and old residences. Homes and streets are well maintained. Residents care about their neighborhood and actively participate in monthly Glen Neighborhood Association meetings. |

Houses in the area are generally 35-50 years old with a sprinkling of both newer and older. Detached and semi-detached dominate and you can find virtually any style desired. Prices are very reasonable for such a convenient and attractive neighborhood; they generally range from 60K for a smaller house, to 130 K for a well maintained 2 story colonial. |
