Glen Oaks is convenient neighborhood, comprised of brick row houses with large yards,
on the #36 Bus line, and neighborly in nature.

Solid brick row homes make up the majority of the neighborhoods' houses. There are a few single houses in the Northern Area. There are over 1,000 residences in the neighborhood, including some rental properties.
Glen Oaks was created in 1948 when the City contracted Elba Construction, Inc. to build a number of homes in the neighborhood.
