Southeast Baltimore
The culture found in Little Italy, Greektown, and Highlandtown (Polish) is genuine. So is the energy in the revitalized areas like Canton and Fells Point. With plenty of restaurants, shops, and art galleries within walking distance, plus easy water access, water taxis, and a water view from almost every rooftop deck, there's little doubt why this area is so hot. Homes are mostly rowhouse style, often fully renovated and many feature waterfront access. For larger rowhomes, check out Butchers Hill, Washington Hill, and the Patterson Park areas.
