Southwest Baltimore
The rolling, wooded hills of the city are the best way to describe much of the southwest region. While shopping and other conveniences of city life are close, they're not too close. Neighborhoods like Hunting Ridge, Ten Hills, Westgate, Franklintown and the historic mill town of Dickeyville are filled with larger, single-family homes with all the character of their winding, tree-lined streets. You will find a mix of housing types in areas like Violetville and Irvington, while the southwest also has its share of rowhouses in Rognel Heights, and Morrell Park.
Highlights:
Gwynns Falls, Leakin Park & Trail, Carroll Park Mansion and Golf Course, historic Pennsylvania Avenue, and bike trails.
