Description

Baltimore’s best kept secret -- Howard Park!!! Howard Park is a beautiful suburban golf course community with easy access to downtown entertainment and all major thoroughfares as well as public transportation. Large single family homes with equally large back and front yards are ideal for families and entertaining friends. The streets tree lined, quiet, with 75% long-term home ownership.

History

Howard Park was originally a part of Baltimore County which bordered Baltimore City. It was the original self contained suburb and the concept used to create Columbia. Howard Park had walking paths, public golf course, amusement park, theatre, both public and private schools and small shops which supported the casual country–like lifestyle of its urban residents. The predominant housing was large single family homes ranging from 3 to 13 bedrooms with equally large front and back yards averaging 7,000 square feet or more, making it ideal to raise and maintain multi-generational households.
