Description

Greenspring Trails of the Woodberry watershed forest has what people seek when they move to settle down and invest in a place to call home. We are a quiet, clean, secure neighborhood with lots of green openspaces. Our neighborhood is very close to all the amenities of urban living with the look and feel of life in the countryside. We have native trees and wildlife, clean air and spring-fed streams. We live with nature and we work to preserve an ecological balance between the built and natural environments.

History

Recently, Maryland Historical Trust has identified Woodberry as eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The area was established outside of Baltimore town between 1790 and 1853. The southern area of Woodberry is replete with historic stone and woodframe houses, and the cotton duck mill yards which are now home to more than 100 business ventures, local, national and international.
