Description

Nestled between verdant Roland Park and funky Hampden, the Wyman Park community is an ideal location for people who love both trees and urban living. Predominately a neighborhood of row houses, Wyman Park runs alongside the park of the same name so has abundant open space for recreation or dog-walking. Residents are within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants on Hampden’s famed “Avenue”, shopping at the Rotunda (including a grocery store, pharmacy and movie theater), Johns Hopkins Homewood campus and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Wyman Park is also less than a 10-minute drive away from the Maryland Zoo, Penn Station, the Inner Harbor and other downtown destinations.

History

Some homes date to the late 1800s. Most of them were built between 1907 and 1950. The association was established in the 50s to protect the park which is the focal point of the neighborhood.
