"Floor Duty" in the Home Center
Serve as our "agent-in-residence" assisting consumers in search of city living information and agent assistance. We’re seeing an average of 62 visitors each month and 23% are sitting with an agent. While on floor duty you'll have access to MRIS/Matrix, phone, fax, private office space, and other general amenities. You will also be featured on our online Home Center calendar.

Educational Opportunities
Attend quarterly continuing agent education classes on topics such as financial incentives, mortgages for city homes, historic tax credits and other relevant subjects. Also attend our annual membership refresher class that will include information on benefits, Live Baltimore Resources and what’s new in the City.

Our semi-annual (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter) publication features all active Preferred Agents at the time of printing. With approximately 30,000 copies printed, each issue is distributed throughout the Baltimore and Washington DC metropolitan areas and around the country.

Becoming a Preferred Real Estate Agent

The path to becoming a Live Baltimore Preferred Real Estate Agent is simple.

Step 1:
The first step is to participate in the exciting and informative program, Selling Baltimore City. This 3-credit continuing education class is offered every other month.

Highlights of the class:

• Live Baltimore Home Center and LiveBaltimore.com – a free information resource on Baltimore City living for you and your clients.
• City neighborhoods profiles and upcoming renting and homebuying events.
• Up-to-date information on Baltimore City homebuying incentives, such as Live Near Your Work and Healthy Neighborhoods.
• Historic District Tax Credit programs: comprehensive explanation on how city, state and federal programs work and how to use them.

Step 2:
Upon completion of the class, you will have 60 days to submit a completed membership application and the annual membership dues. The membership year is July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2009 and the annual dues are $850 for the full membership year. Annual dues will be prorated at each class.
