MD State Logo You can register to vote at any library, firehouse or local or state government office. Simply fill out a voter registration form and mail it in to the Board of Elections. Make sure to sign the form!

In the State of Maryland, you must be registered with one of the 5 currently recognized political parties in order to vote in primary elections to choose that party's candidate. If you are not affiliated with a political party, you will only be eligible to vote in the general elections.
