Pets in the City

Your furry family members are welcome in Baltimore City! Pets are routinely cheered at events such as Barcstoberfest and new cats, dogs, and other small animals can be adopted at the Baltimore Area Rescue and Care Shelter and the Maryland SPCA. Baltimore City’s numerous dog parks afford you time in great spaces with your dog.

We even have an annual pet parade and talent show, “Visionary Pets on Parade,” organized by the American Visionary Art Museum in the fall near Halloween.
